What do you think of Ford's New 2017 Ford F-Series Super Duty pickup?

Recently, the Ford Motor Company revealed its new 2017 Ford F-Series Super Duty pickup truck. During the release show, numerous Ford representatives highlighted the truck's use of aluminum, wight loss, robust frame and technological advances.

Seeing as how the 2015 Ford F-150 caused a great deal of excitement, I'm just wondering if my feelings of jubilation are worthwhile or if I'm just getting caught up in the moment. What do you think? Is this truck going to change the way people view performance pickups?

Anyway, just in case you missed the release, here's a summary of what took place: http://thefordexperiment.com/ford-finally-reveals-the-new-2017-ford-f-series-super-duty-pickup/. Obviously, any and all commentary is much appreciated.

I love Ford trucks, I like the new 2015, and I saw the 2017 Superduty sneak peek. I think Ford has done a tremendous job engineering the new truck, and the features packed in make it truly revolutionary. That trailer steer feature is awesome! I own a 2006 F150 supercab lariat 4x4, and it too is full of convenient, useful features. The prices keep going up, but for what you get, I think the Ford is a slam dunk.

Its too soon to see how the aluminum panels hold up to road salt. And its too soon to see how much repairs will be after a fender bender.
When you look at the weight issue, is amusing. Over the last three decades, truck manufactures have done nothing but add weight because of all the "luxury items". Power this, power that.

I've always driven Fords - Have four now, but I usually don't get into any new technology until it's been around a few years.
