Anyone with a new 2017/2018 Ford Super Duty find the interior to be very cheaply put together and low end materials?
Seems like a really el cheapo interior considering the price of what a Lariat and above trim level costs.
Well thats ford for ya. Thats why i got an accord instead of a mustang. I liked the looks of the mustang much better, but when i got inside it felt like cheeze whiz compared to the accord.
The base Ford Super Duty is a WORK truck! It doesn't NEED all the high-end whistles and bells that you would find in a truck with higher trim levels.

Ford has a habit of cheaping out on interiors.
Ford do a huge amount of research for its market products. Often it will offer upgrades as an option or bring in such as model updating later on. As a work horse though. You have to compare what it is supplied for and marketing target. Since Ford now. Compare very well with likes of Toyota. Its simply a choice of what you want to buy.working vehicle or luxury copy.

- I have a Ford Ranger 4.0 and the AC doesn't blow very cool air. I want to add refrigerant for very 1st time, never have added to any vehicle? I'm using a gauge to test the pressure. With AC on max the needle moves between 25 and 45, the blue normal range. The compressor cuts on at 45 and off at 25. This happens continuously. The outside temp is 80 degrees. Not exactly understanding what I was doing, I added a little refrigerant and now the needle goes to 47 in the yellow range. Will this do any harm? Can I remove the excess refrigerant? If so, how? Is the system fully charged? If so, why isn't the air cooler?
