I have a 2008 Ford F250 2WD. How can i make my truck 4WD?
Its a simple question i just don't know the answer. I have a 2008 Ford F250 XLT Super Cab, its 2WD and i wanna know how to make her 4WD. Axle swap necessary? Please let me know.
It would be a major job, as the front & rear axles would need to be replaced, as well as adding the transfer case would require the tranny to be modified. It would be quicker & probably cheaper in the long run to sell the 2wd & buy a factory 4x4.
Sell it and buy a 4WD, the conversion will cost more than buying a 4X4
Trade it in and buy a new one! Don't even attempt this, it isn't worth it and makes no sense.
- If you have enough money, can you have a new classic car built? Like can I pay to have ford build me a 1970 Mustang? Lets say I don't want to buy an old car and restore it, I want a 1970 but straight off the factory line. Can you have a car built with the old style frame, engine, trans, etc?
- How much would it cost to make a 2wd drive f150 into 4wd? So i own a 1985 ford f150 stepside and i freakin love this thing its my first truck bought it myself and frankly the stepside is just sexy. But she's a piece of work! Which is fine. But i was wondering if anyone on here could throw me a price range on making it 4wd, i already need to replace transmission shocks and the rear axel and brakes so yeah! I know its possible and difficult and that a new truck would be more wise but i just wanna know a price range! Any help?
- About how much would it cost if I want to convert my 2wd to 4wd? Ok so I have a 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac. Don't tell me that I should of gotten it 4x4, it was passed down to me. Anyways how much would it cost with the parts required and average of labor to convert to 4wd. Trust me if I could have chosen a 4x4 I wouldn't have thought of it twice any dumbass answers will be reported. Thank you if you take your time to help someone in doubt
- I own a 2015 Ford Escape SE, 4WD, 1.6. It has the autolamp feature and I'm wondering if there's a way to make the autolamps turn on sooner? As it's getting darker? I turn mine on and while I'm driving, other vehicles I see, their headlights are already on but mine don't on until it's almost dark. I'm almost certain these other vehicles are using the autolamp feature on their vehicles also.
