Yeah the 6.0 was a big mistake for ford. I wouldn't try to push it too far.
The truck can*t take it not the 6.0 put it back stock or spend thousands soon
"rolling coal" happens when there isn't enough oxygen in the combustion chamber and the chemical reaction produces pure carbon instead of carbon monoxide or dioxide. A properly tuned diesel won't billow soot so consider it a sign that your engine is running well. If you're having power issues then that's a different story and we're gonna need some more info.
Not built for that kind of abuse.
- Should Sears and Ford HIRE Dotard McTiny as their CEO and get profitable again! If he can get Foreign Diplomats and American Lobbyists to? Pay $350.00/night to sleep in a tiny room in an old Post Office and keep it FULL and VERY PROFITABLE, don't you think that he could come up with an idea to save 40+ thousand American jobs?
- What's the largest engine I could fit inside of a 2004 Ford Ranger Edge 2D that has a 3.0 L V6? I'm thinking maybe a Chevy 327, but that would require a lot of work as making room or getting and Chevy transmission to go with the Chevy 327. On the other hand I could put a Ford 286 or 302 in there supercharge that **** up and it would be a monster.
- What's the biggest engine I can fit into a 2004 Ford Ranger Edge 2D that currently has a 3.0 V6? I d like to turn my Ford Ranger into a drag truck worthy of the strip, what kind of engine can I put into her to make her wheelie Everytime I slam the gas?
- I press the gas hard from a slow roll and it does nothing at first and then engages? I was making a left turn and as you know you have to wait for other cars, when I accelerated I accelerated hard and the car just stopped for a moment and then engaged. I have a 1998 FORD explorer 4x4 with 89k miles. Any help?
