Ford F-250 Dash Lights Incorrect?
I'm thinking of buying this truck from a dealer, but some of the lights on the dash are on. The ABS, battery, and open door lights are all on. Also, the cab light doesn't always turn off when the door is closed. The dealer told me that the instrument cluster needs to be repaired, and the mechanic I brought it to said the same thing. I was just hoping to get some opinions from anyone who may have had some of the same issues. These are small problems potentially, and it's a really good truck otherwise.

If they were easy, cheap fixes, the dealership would have taken care of them. Makes me wonder if they know anything else about it.
The DOOR OPEN & the dome light issue are the same problem & not a big deal. The battery & the ABS are much more serious problems but also *usually* have a fairly simple repair. But don't let the dealer get full price unless he fixes them.
The door switch being bad is a little thing, the ABS and battery lights may not be.
They may not be small problems. It could be major electrical system problems. I'd keep looking there are lots of F250s out there.
- Ford Ranger Dash Lights? I have a 2000 Ford Ranger 3.0 v6 and need to replace the dash lights. I was thinking about switching out the regular bulbs with LEDs but don't know which kind I should get. What are the sizes for the main 6 bulbs and the little ones and what kind of LEDs and/or regular bulbs should I get?
- 99 Ford ranger XLT base model. Park lights, dash lights, and license plates lights out I checked online and realized it was probably a fuse which it is. Fuse 11 in my power distribution box. The problem is I keep replacing at and soon as I turn on my lights it blows instantly. Have replaced it multiple times. So then I looked under my truck and disconnected the wiring to my taillights and replaced the fuse, it worked it didn't blow. Dash lights and license plates lights were on so I figured some where there's a problem with the brake lights. Any suggestions?

When I turn the 4x4 selector knob nothing happens I'm pointing out that the light comes on before it starts because its not the actual 4x4 module thats the issue like everyone assumes from he start.
- 1983 FORD RANGER DASH LIGHTS? I have a 1983 ford ranger, I come on here when I can't find something out about it, The dash lights do not come on and I don't know why everything else works except the dash lights, I don't understand, I haven't checked any fuses yet I will do that tomorrow, but I don't think that is the case since it is wired to the headlights which work perfectly fine, thanks!
