Does super-tech 5w-20 full synthetic meet Ford spec m2c-945?
What does the manual say?
Or, take a look at this video

Yes it does…
It says SN+, so I think yes, since SN+ is the minimum API developed for Low-speed pre-ignition, which was the cause for the latest version of m2c-945-"B1".
I think you will find that all fully synthetic oil meets or exceeds the top specifications. They all quote BMW and Mercedes Benz standards so Ford will be included by default.
- What kind of Synthetic Oil does Ford use? GM recommends Dexos in all newer GM s. Does Ford have a specialty oil that they recommend/prefer? Especially something that won't void a warranty
- Fuel consumption Ford Mustang UK spec? Does anyone own a UK spec Mustang with the 'Smaller' engine option? Your information on Fuel consumption and general ownership would be appreciated.
- How can I get a job at ford as a Assembly/line or should I go to tech school like uti? I'm 19 years old and about to graduate from high school I'm into cars and I want to know everything about them what kind of experience will I need to get a job into these companies.
- What type of full synthetic oil to put in 2005 ford focus? I have a 2005 ford focus ST zx4 and need to add oil, this is the first time adding oil since I bought the car. All I know is that the previous owner used full synthetic. I have to add just about a quarter of oil until an oil change in a few weeks. I have heard that full synthetic 5w-30 or 5w-40 is good but no lower than 5w-30 or I can take the chance of blowing up my car… Any thoughts on this?
