Car battery seems to be stuck in place. I have removed the terminals and all of the bolts?
The vehicle is a 1995 Ford Aerostar van (regular one, not the extended one). There's what looks like a plastic base under the battery that is perhaps holding the battery in place, and I have removed the bolts from the side of this base, and I have also removed the battery terminals. After doing this I'm able to lift the battery up from the front, but it appears to be stuck in place in the back. I have not seen any bolts in the back, so I don't think there are any, but it just seems like the battery won't come out, like it is stuck to the plastic base.
I see something in front of the base that looks like a thin metal rod with a metal washer attached to it, but this just looks like it is part of the base, not connected to the battery.
The block at the bottom REMOVE it completely you also may need to tilt the battery as your removing it There's one "cleat" that lil black block and sometimes there's a tab opposite side so remove the cleat completely push the battery to the side the cleat was bolted it should come right out
I don't think you need to remove the bolts from the side of the base. You need to remove the hold down clamp which is held in by one bolt. Then try pulling the battery towards the spot where the clamp was. The opposite side of the battery slips under a lip that may be catching the battery so you can't lift it.
- Does my car have a place for me to plug in my phone and listen to my own music? I have a light blue 2005 Ford Taurus. I want to listen to my own music and not the stuff on the radio, but I don't think that there's a place to plug in my phone. I have a cd player but not a tape player (is that what it's called? I'm not sure.) Does anyone know if this type of car has a place to plug in my phone or if there's another way to do it?

- Does the oil pan have to be removed to change the rear main seal on a ford 3.0L V6 in a 2000 ford ranger? I have the engine removed from the truck and was swaping in a salvaged engine that all checks out good except for a slight leaking rear main seal. So, after inspecting the rear main seal, it appears as though a could just slide it out and a new one in. Does the oil pan need to be removed? Or can I just carefully remove the old seal and clean the surfaces good and install a new one?
