Does my car have a place for me to plug in my phone and listen to my own music?

I have a light blue 2005 Ford Taurus. I want to listen to my own music and not the stuff on the radio, but I don't think that there's a place to plug in my phone. I have a cd player but not a tape player (is that what it's called? I'm not sure.) Does anyone know if this type of car has a place to plug in my phone or if there's another way to do it?

Try reading the owner's manual that came with the car. It should tell you all you need to know about the radio in your car.

The 2005 Taurus did not include an auxiliary input jack as an option. Kits are available to let you replace the stock radio with an after-market one, despite the combined radio/climate control design.

Oh sorry to tell you if it was any other colour you'd be fine. But not the light blue ones.

  • How can I play my own music in my car from my phone? My car is an 05 ford taurus and it doesn't have a cassette tape player so i can't use a cassette tape adapter. It also doesn't have an aux outlet or bluetooth. Just a CD player and AM/FM radio
  • Can I transfer my car payments and car to a 17year old from a buy here pay here place? I have a good question… I got a 98 jeep grand Cherokee limited from ridenowautosales.com I'm still currently making payments. A family friend told me he d sell me his 98 Ford v8 supercharged mustang for 500$ because he needs it gone. Back to the question, my friend is 17 and desperately needs a car would I be able to transfer the jeep and payments into his name? I love the jeep and all but not the 10mpg any help would be awesome!
  • How to play music from my phone through the car stereo in a 2005 ford freestyle? The car has the factory radio which comes without an aux port. I would rather not have to use an FM adaptor. If there's a means by which I can install an auxiliary system of sorts could someone give me a link as well?
  • How to set my car to play music through my phone? I have an LG G3, and my car is a 2007 Ford Fusion S. I have an auxiliary cord in my car already, but every time I hook it up to my phone, it just plays the music on my phone instead of through the Aux setting. I don't have a Bluetooth button on my car, or it I do, and I can't find it. I was wondering if there's any way I can set my car up to play the music on my phone, because of the fact that it's not working on my auxiliary.
