Where can i buy a after market rrar axle beam for a ford windstar 2003?

The ford ones break all the time, looking for a diffrent brand

There's no other brand, what's available, is what you get. While several manufactures may have made them for ford.Regardless of who made it, they are all made to the same specifications. For there model year. I can't imagine any after market support for rear "beams" since its front wheel drive. What you would have to do is find or buy maybe a boat trailer axle. Then maybe if you can get someone to do it. Have the trailer axle fitted and sized for your"application" if it can be done at all Otherwise there's no heavy duty axle option for that anemic FAMILY VAN. I have never seen a mini van break axles when used as intended.anyway see if a axle from a trailer ( i'm not saying it can be done its just a absurd answer to your absurd question) can be fitted with the brakes and spring perches then maybe narrowed for proper width. Then guess what will happen.Something else will break. Like struts, springs, even the body. Its not a full chassis van.Basically that thing was NOT made to do whatever it is your doing to it. Your better off getting a truck or something cause at the rate your going that van is gonna be destroyed If you actually got a axle made Then what about suspension It will not have a heavier payload cause its got springs and struts Even if it had leaf spring rear end.Guess what.A tiny toyota truck would still be able to carry more weight. At least a truck suspension can be beefed up a windstar can't, So keep in mind modifying the suspension in your van can compromise the safety and the drive ability making possible a crash or worse maybe. Your wind star was never made to be used as you are using it. There's nothing more you can do thats cheap is what i'm saying and the van will break in another place if you mess with it. You obviously have taken it past its limits

Hi so as some have fitted jaguar mark 10 rear axles to many cars as they are so robust.

People with any kind of intelligence don't spend THOUSANDS of dollars designing, testing and manufacturing after-market parts that there's no serious demand for. This is especially true for Really UGLY 15-year-old Mini-Vans. If you "keep breaking" the rear axle on a Ford Windstar van, then you're obviously doing something that you shouldn't be doing. STOP IT!

  • Will After Market Exhaust Damage An Engine? Wanting to put in 2 flowmaster super 10s into my 02 Ford GT, its stock. 94k miles. H-Pipe. Currently has borla pro xs muffers in, but wanting it louder. Was told if I do put them in to have the car tuned. Is a tune needed? And if so what do you think the cost would be.
  • Will a 2000 Ford Windstar lx fuse box diagram be the same as a 2003 Ford Windstar fuse box? I found a link about a 2003 but I need to know if it'll be the same for a 2000. If it ain't can anyone help me out with a link showing information like this but about a 2000 model? Thanks. http://www.fixya.com/cars/t11808484-2003_ford_windstar_fuse_box_diagram
  • After market stereo installation? I have a single din radio and installation kit for my 2006 Ford Fusion. I also have an 800w amp and a 10in sub that I want to hook up. Does anyone know the specific types of wires and everything else that I ll need to hook it all up?
  • Dim Low Beam on 2001 Ford Focus? A few days ago, I tried replacing my headlight bulbs with halogen ones, but one of them burnt instantly, so I installed the old ones back. The problem is that now the low beam is very dim, I can't see anything at night. The high beam works perfectly (high and low beam are in the same bulb). Also, when I switch to the low beam, the high beam indicator on the dash is dimly lit. Any ideas on what the problem might be?
