Thinking of buying another vehicle
I currently own a 1989 Chevy Blazer and I use it for daily driving which is in good condition. I've been thinking of buying a Ford Bronco 4x4 probably early 90's model as an off road truck and even weekend vacations. Since my Blazer is a 2x4 it does horrible in dirt roads (got stuck 3x) and I really want an SUV for leisure. Was wondering if its worth the financial investment and even possibly the maintenance cost I might run into it. Also if my insurance will be lower since I'm going to be putting two vehicles in my policy.
Of course owning and maintaining two vehicles will be more expensive than just having one. Only you can decide if it is worth it for you.
- What does cash/trade mean when buying a vehicle? I'm looking at buying my first vehicle from ford. When I go on the website for Airdrie Ford in albera, I found the truck I like. It gives me how much it will cost a month. Then it says. Cash/trade=$2599. What does this mean, Is that the down payment. I'm not sure of it. And would really appreciate some help
- Things to know before buying a new or used vehicle? It's my first major choice. Please help and yes I'm going anonymous because I don't want to be judged. Do I pay exactly what the sticker says? Am I supposed to ask questions? What should I know and what is the best choice if you please? Ford's seem like durable vehicles that are easy to work on or I don't know just help please?!
- I'm buying a used vehicle today, Does it need to be inspected again? I'm buying a 1999 Ford Taurus today from a Private owner. The owner has had the vehicle inspected months earlier, and the car passed and is currently running fine. Does the car need to be reinspected once I buy the car to get my own tags on it?
- Is a face lift for a vehicle a new generation for a vehicle? I heard that in 1989 Ford Ranger received a facelift but was a new generation or just a minor update that did not change the complete model of the vehicle?
