Automatic transmission? Then either a low vacuum problem to the modulator need 16-18 pounds of vacuum at the modulator. Or the kick down rod between the carb and side of the transmission either has broken or fallen of carb or transmission
Hi so time to learn how to drive.
- 1997 Ford Ranger 4.0 V6 won't shift into drive after being driven. Takes longer than should to shift into drive when first started? It will go in reverse fine. First thing in the morning when I leave for work, it will shift into drive on it's own, but takes a bit longer than it should. After getting it warm, won't shift into drive at all. I can shift down to 1st or 2nd, then back into drive and it will "pop up" into drive within a second or 2. I also have a ODB2 error P1744 (Torque Converter circuit).
- I have a 2007 Ford Five hundred that when I shift when it's off it moves. But when I turn the car on & shift it won't move It's a TBS transmission. It's not making any noise either. I was told it could be computer on the transmission?
- How is fording a river in a manual 4x4 different to an automatic 4x4? I had forded a river with a LR Defender before and usually stuck it in Low 2nd gear and push through the river at 2-3k rpm. Luckily I never got stuck in the middle but I remember reading somewhere that it is easier to ford rivers with an automatic gearbox due to the lack of clutch housing? Since automatic gearbox won't really stall in the middle of the river, would it be okay to shift it in reverse if stuck?
- Has America now reached a point where they're fed up with dem nonsense in general? When it comes to Kavanaugh specifically, is Ford lying? Here's the facts that present day democrats/liberals/socialists decide Kavanaugh is guilty… Ford: Doesn't remember when. Doesn't remember where. Doesn't remember what house she was in. Doesn't remember how she got home. Yep… Per liberals / socialists, Kavanaugh is guilty. Serious? What makes a person's brain work that way?
