4 year old ford ecosport hasn't had a service in 2 years but only done 3000km in that time. What maintenances do I need to get on my car?
As above, had no service for 2 years. I'm guessing engine oil and oil filter, break cleaner. But as it's 4 years old should I get a major service including spark plugs, brake fluid, engine air filter, fuel filter?
in the ford maintenance schedule it is recommended to do those on 40,000km or 2 years but is it really necessary for low milage?
Thanks to all who reply

It needs a full service as per the manufacturer's schedule.
I don't understand the need for BRAKE cleaner, Disc brakes are self-cleaning. But other than that, filters and fluids should be changed according to the manufacturer's maintenance schedule.
Spark plugs are like 100k service items. They shouldn't need to be changed if the car has been sitting for all this time. You can pull and clean them if you'd like, but they should be good for a while yet.
There's no need to change the brake fluid or the coolant.
Change the oil and filter and the air filter. Use fully synthetic oil and your car will run cleaner and last longer.
Service by mileage, so look in your owner's manual to see what is recommended.
- What is Ford's excuse for not reporting this alleged crime 36 years ago when a proper investigation could have been done? Even if you say that the police would have not taken it seriously back then, it would still have been on file and came up during the FBI background check.
- What should be done to a car that s been sitting for a long time? My parents bought me and my brother a 2001 ford mustang about a month ago. It has 88,000 miles on it and the previous owner (not the original owner) had been letting it sit for about 6 months I think he said. The car obviously hasn't been driven that much. I know I should obviously change the oil and all filters. I don't know too much about cars but am learning and was just wondering from any mechanics out there what all I should do to it.
- I need a battery for a 1988 Ford Msutang LX, hasn't ran in 16 years and I just want to get it cranking again? Hasn't ran in 16 years, and I want to at least get it raining again Mustang 5.0 8 cylinder, convertible. Looking for something cheap to start off with.
- Looking to buy a car privately which hasn't been serviced in 4 years but only 9000km (they bought the car brand new)? As above. the car is a Ford EcoSport 1.5 titanium it has 9000km only but they say they've never had it serviced? should I stay away from this car? also, since there's no service history could this be a case of odometer roll back fraud?
