222,000 miles on a ford truck?
I'm in love with this truck and plan on buying it. But those miles kind of make me doubt. Is 220,000 miles on a ford truck perfecty fine? Or should i save my money on some other truck?
Heres a link to the truck and all details

If you road test the truck and can find no faults it my be fine. But it is a huge mileage. So walk away if in any doubt.
I'm betting most of the miles were from highway driving, not city. As long as it has all of its service records and there are no major issues, I wouldn't worry about the mileage at $7k. Just get a mechanic to inspect it or watch DIY inspection videos on youtube. Try negotiating lower if possible.
Nothing unusual. My '92 Bronco has 265,000 miles…
Depends on how much you pay.
I wouldn't pay much for it or anything with 200k.
Be careful with the 5.4L. I have a 2007 F150 with 192, XXX miles on it and it runs good, but it's getting a little tick and they're known for getting ticks. Make sure it's been maintained well with fully synthetic oil and such.
Here is the approximate value - but dealers get a little more for warranty etc.
Too many miles.
If you want to love something, get a dog or girlfriend. It is a $%^&*() truck and a Ford at that. It might not even make it home.
Oh man. It is huge mileage.
- Have 98 Ford Ranger, 4.0, 171,000 miles, auto trans with limited slip. I've owned truck since new and have changed trans fluid every 30-35 000 miles and have never towed anything. The majority of the 171,000 miles are interstate driving. The truck shifts fine with no jerking or slippage. What I do get is thump(s) in rear end when I come to a stop, as gears are downshifting. Do I need a new transmission? Any suggestions? I suppose it's a "clunk" I hear and feel when I come to a stop, not a thump.

- Do you think buying a 2000 ford focus with 161,000 miles a good car purchase? For 1,000? I'm wondering if anyone will recommend, a 2000 ford focuse with 161,000 mileage as my first car, I recently got my drivers permit I want a car to practice my driving skills and I stubbled into the 2000 ford focus.
- I own a 2015 Ford Escape with 30,000 miles and runs good. My prior vehicle had over 150,000 miles and I used Gumout Regane high mileage fuel? System cleaner. I still have a bottle of the Gumout and wondering if I used it in the Escape, would the Gumout do any harm to it? I suppose I could wait until I get 75,000 miles on it before using but I'm a 3000-4000 miles a year driver and the Gumout would go bad before using it.
