Trade it in. May just be a shot oil pump and/or worn bearings. Trade it in as the dealer will be able to fix it at a fraction of what he would charge you.

When the pressure drops to zero, does the engine sound like a diesel (lots of rattling noise)? Then your oil pressure is at zero and you need that addressed before you start the engine again.

If the engine continues to run smoothly, then I'd suspect the oil pressure sending unit (a more common problem).

Hi yes it will if the engine is worn out as oil leaks out of the main bearings and big ends bearings. This is a good indication that the engine is worn out.
