Yep.
This has a cable. It auto adjusts if you use the clutch right. To take up the slack lift the pedal with the toe and let it drop a couple of times.
Cables do fail over time- the cable itself is about 30 to 50 dollars. If the adjusting quadrant is not broken it takes about one hour to replace provided things go right. If not- it can take a day or more depending on how wrong it goes!
