Hi can you tell me how i can get my ford transit radio code please?
From a Ford dealer with paymant, ID and proof of ownership
You need to find the serial number of the radio - try pressing buttons 1+6 or 2+6 together, and you should see a number such as M123456 or V654321. If the number begins with M, post it on here and we can give you the code - if it begins with V, only a Ford dealer can help you.
(If the above method doesn't give you the serial number, you'll have to take the radio out to find it…)

- Unlock Code For Ford Transit Radio 5000? When I Hold Down 1&6 together the code: MGP DJ5 40 - 8 Comes up so i'm guessing that's the serial number. The code I was given in the log book is wrong any help? Sorry i got the serial code wrong i took the unit out and it said m258531 on the side does this help anyone?
- Restoring old Ford Transit. Can't get engine to start. Any ideas please? Friend is restoring 1976 Transit Diesel. Dry stored and in excellent condition. Re-conditioned injectors, clean fuel. Engine turns over valve-gear working (belt intact). Compression, fuel at injectors, no air in system engine turning over with new battery. Apparently no heater plugs on this engine (2.4). Tried eze-start just 'coughs' but will not actually start. At wits end! Any ideas please?
