Hi this would be a waste of time as far as repairing such items as most of what is inside the radios case is free space. It is not serviceable as it contains surface mounted devices which can't be replaced. So thee is no point in thinking you are going to repair this unit. Now add to the facts when produced it cost less than a packet of cigarettes. Yes made on a production line by a robot. Made as cheap as chips.
so what is the answer simple chuck in the dustbin and buy a better one from the local electronics store or car accessory shop.

I have found many claiming they are for my car but do not have the same wires as me. The colors of wires I have match up to the colors in this diagram, but I don't know what it means, it doesn't tell me what wires are for say, Front Left speaker, Front Right Speaker, etc. Someone please help me!

- How to connect iPod to sound system on 2005 Ford Fiesta? I recently bought a 2005 Ford Fiesta second hand and want to be able to play music from my iPhone through the car's speakers. Everywhere I look says to get an auxiliary cable, but I don't have an auxiliary input jack in my car. Just a 12 Volt Power Source which I assume doesn't connect to the sound system. Surely there's an alternative that allows me to connect to my car's speakers? What would I have to purchase? Open to any and all suggestions.
