Is the BMW 335i a reliable car?
I have a $30k price limit for a car. I like the 2012 335i sedan (F30). How is the car compared to the Ford Fusion and Chrysler 200? (those were my previous cars, and they were always in the repair shop)
Also, are the maintenance and repairs really expensive for the 335i? Apparently, Edmunds says it will cost me $3600 per year. Is that considered to be a lot?

What other cars would you recommend below $30k? I just want something that's reliable with some luxury.
Mercedes has the CLA - Class 4 door "Coupe" for $31,500… Yes a four door "Coupe". I don't get it, but their maintenance costs are some of the highest. I would recommend the Acura ILX, Honda Accord Coupe or Sedan, Subaru Legacy, and Toyota Camry. I prefer Japanese car if you can tell, but I don't know enough about other brands to really recommend them. I think the Acura ILX would be a good fit since it's luxurious and has reliable Honda engineering. I also recommend you check out the Honda Accord Coupe or Sedan. They are much more luxurious now than most people realize. I have a 2015 Civic Ex-L and people are always mentioning how nice Honda interiors and features have gotten. Lol I hope you don't hate the idea of buying Japanese like some people do, I like them because I've owned a civic for ten years with no problems. The only reason I bought the 2015 Civic is because my 2004 Civic got rear ended and totaled by a drunk driver last October. It was an F150 going 40 mile per hour with braking. It crushed my trunk, but didn't even break the rear window. I've trusted Honda's safety engineering more since then as well. Anyways, the BMW will probably be reliable, but I do know fixing them costs a lot and assume they are similar to Mercedes maintenance costs.
I recommend a Range Rover.
Its an expensive luxury car.
- 2005 Bmw 745i worth getting? There's a 2005 Bmw 745i for sale at a dealership for 11k. Its a V8 engine and wastes a lot of gas I assume. I need a car for me and my girlfriend and my baby boy since I just sold my old rusty 1992 Ford Taurus. The car has more than 100,000 miles on it. I'm not looking into leasing a newer model car because I do not want to pay a lot of money. So my question is, if you were in my situation would you lease it? And how much would you put down for a deposit?
- 2012 mustang gt vs 2009 bmw 335i coupe for insurance and reliability? I'm am wondering what would be cheaper on insurance but most off all what would be the most reliable please no bias, although i'm a ford fan boy you can't argue with a bmw but i hear they arnt to reliable being twin turbo v6, and also because if they arnt reliable i don't want to be stuck with expensive a## parts to buy… I'm 19 with a clean driving record
- What is a good reliable car? I'm a college student and don't want to spend a lot on a car. I plan to take out a 6 year loan and want to pay around $200 or low 2's on a preowned vehicle. Cars I have been looking at are the following: Sonata Altima Mazda 3 Ford Fusion Civic Out of these, which car is the most reliable and best car to get for what I'm looking for. I don't want to be paying payments on a 9 year old car with a lot of problems.
- Is Ford a good, reliable car manufacturer? I remember growing up in the 90s, I would always hear my parents say to stay away from US car manufacturers and buy Japanese cars like Honda and Toyota. Is Ford a lot better now? I'm specifically looking at model years 2010-2014. Anything compact, fuel efficient, and affordable. Something like a Fiesta or a Focus.
