Ford Focus RS MK2 problem? - 1

Added (1). Hello, I have a Focus RS MK2. This morning I turned it on, and accidentally let go off the clutch while it was in 1st gear and, as expected, the engine turned off. When I turned it on again, a yellow light of the engine block was in the dash, I do not know what it is. Could there have been damage for letting go off the clutch?

If the light goes off when the engine is started then this is normal but if it stays on when the engine is running then you have a problem.
Diagnosis can only be by diagnostic kit hooked up to the cars data port.
What you did should not really have caused this unless perhaps the jolt caused a wire or connector to be damaged or maybe broken.

  • Car acceleration problem and idle problem. The car is a 2003 Ford Taurus? . When the car is running and in parked its making a loud consisted rev noise. However the rpm needle thingy is not moving. when i'm in drive the car acclerates on its own with the speed ever increasing. i did some googling and learned that it can be the TPS sensor or the idle air intake valve, among a million other possiblities.
