2000/2001 Ford Focus Not Starting?
My little sister drives a 2001 ford focus (Honestly it could even be a 2000, I've got no clue), the other day she left the battery on when she got home from work ad the car died. I tried to jump it with my car and let her borrow my cr to go to work so began to charge it with an external charger. Once it got some juice the alarm went off and the little remote for the battery had died so in order to ease my nerves and my neighbors I disconnected the alarm. When I tried to turn on the car the engine won't turn over, in fact it won't even make a sound. I have no idea what is going on, what do you guys think. Any ideas on how I can get this car running again?
Option 1: Tow it to ford. Pay 1 hour shop time for a diagnosis
Option 2: My advice- what do you mean by "left the battery on"? Aside from that, if the battery voltages drop low enough it CAN cause issues with modules even the security module which would indicate your alarm issue. Charge the battery or replace it, hook it back up and re try (reconnect everything)

- My 2001 ford focus will crank but will not start? I had some oil leaking so my husband rinsed off the left side of the car under to hood to get oil off now it will not start it was running great before he did this we have replaced the spark plugs and put a new fuel. Pump in and a fuel pressure sensor new battery it will crank when you turn it over but it will not start. What are we miss in please help
- Ford focus 2000 AC not working? So one day, I changed my AC speed from 4 to 2 and then the AC button light went away and my AC went out. I changed the blow motor because two people told me that was problem because there was electricity flowing through it. When I press the relay for the AC in the fuse box, some part of the AC under the hood makes a noise (the noice it makes when my AC is on) but the AC doesn't turn on nor will the light turn on. Also, if it's the fuse, which fuse would it be?
- Ford Focus 1.8 TDCI not starting? The fuel pump has been changed. It's been timed back up. Checked injectors for blockage but they're clean. Car still fails to kick in on start. Tried some easy start in it but car stops as soon as it burns off… Any ideas? It's driving us crazy.
