What should I do when I get my truck?
So i'm 14 i'm gonna be a freshman in highschool next year and i'm saving up for either a chevy silverado or a ford f150 I have almost $12,000 saved up but my dad said he would pay for the truck but I would have to pay for the accessories and i'm ok with that but I always wanted something big and loud so I can impress people because at football practice when the seniors pull up in their trucks their loud and big and people seem to be amazed by them I want something like a 7 inch lift kit with 26-32 inch rims everybody i told said they either really liked it or that they didn't believe me and that i'm stupid lol but I just wondered how that would look and I want either black on black or white on black rims so yea
Hi ego could kill you kid.
I never said anythingabout texting and driving
LOUD AIN"T IMPRESSIVE… It's a nussisance… Basically what you're doing is just drawing attention to your truck… If I was out to impress the girls,.( as you are,… Hopefully )… I 'd rather go with a nice little well groomed & polished, sports,. Coupe…
You have failed to ask a question here
Most people realise that drivers of cars like this have concerns about their size in the trouser department if you know what I mean.
Big and loud is not impressive, it is annoying.
Around here, big trucks with lifts are king. Its a country community around here, sports cars are around but looked upon as unfavorable or that you are a yuppie. Yes, yuppie from like Duck Dynasty.
First off, most of the big truck guys laugh at the little Silverados and F150's. They are nice, but they aren't overly impressive. Not a bad choice if you want to go mudding due to the smaller and lighter frame. The big dogs all drive diesel trucks. Super Duty's are popular.
Depending on your price range, a good diesel may be out of your budget. Well, you're dads budget. I would guess you should try to acquire a 2007 6.0L Power Stroke Supercrew (4 full size doors) with a short bed. You need to stud it, replace head gaskets, oil cooler, egr cooler, and a few other things an chip it out. Prob in the neighborhood of about 4K.
After that, buy a lift kit. Rims the size of 26inches look horrible, but you could aim to get 20's. Maybe evens shop for a 2014 Platinum super duty rim to put on your truck. Get some big tires 33" or bigger.
Your huge massive truck will outrun all those gasser and sound a heck of a lot more manly. Not to mention, you can pull out all your stuck friends in the winter, get a snow plow, or pull a trailer like it wasn't even there and also there's plenty of room in the truck for even the tallest and biggest of friends. Even lots of room in the backseat, if you know what I mean. If no one in your area is big on diesel trucks, you will be the top dog. The alpha male. Congratulations my friend.
- What truck should I get? SS silverado, Ram Rt, or ford lighting? I want a truck but which one should I get the ss comes with a 6.0 it's fast. The ram comes with a 5.7 hemi. The lighting comes with a 5.3. If you were me which one would you get. I don't care about horse power right now. So pick
- Should Sears and Ford HIRE Dotard McTiny as their CEO and get profitable again! If he can get Foreign Diplomats and American Lobbyists to? Pay $350.00/night to sleep in a tiny room in an old Post Office and keep it FULL and VERY PROFITABLE, don't you think that he could come up with an idea to save 40+ thousand American jobs?
- Should I get a diesel truck or a gas? I won't be hauling super heavy loads all the time but I will be pulling a 28 foot camper up to at least 8 to 10 times a year and a goose neck horse trailer with living quarters occasionally. Maybe a stock trailer here and there but no major 200+ miles. I've always wanted a diesel but I'm not sure if it would be the best for me. I've been reading about them and they sound like nothing but trouble and a money pit.
