Replacing a clutch slave cylinder & master cylinder. 2003 Ford F150?
Added (1). I need to replace my slave cylinder & clutch master cylinder. I have priced the parts out at $100. What am I looking at in labor? Is it a simple repair?
If you are mechanically inclined you can with the proper tools.
First things first. Is it an internal or external slave cyl? Older trucks had internal, which meant you had to pull the tranny. Just like a throwout bearing / clutch fork job, no fun. If its a external then its do-able. After replacement, you will have to bleed the system. Check on Youtube, might be some help there.

- Clutch slave cylinder union? I have a ford focus 2001 1.4 16v car. I recently had the clutch changed while this was done my mechanic can't get this union back on as it has a hairline split. I'm now looking to find this part however I can't find it. Unless I buy a whole new clutch pipe is there anyway to get this part without the pipe? And does anyone know what part exactly it is? This is my first car, and I'm not 100npercent sure.
- Ford F 150 Clutch Master Cylinder? I'm replacing the master cylinder. Are there any tricks to putting the pin in? It's started, but can't get it to go through. I think I need to hold the line in with one hand, while holding the unit itself onto something solid, and tapping it with a hammer. BUT WAIT! That's three hands?
