What kind of amp wiring kit do i need?

I have the mtx terminator subs and amp. I have 2 12in subs in a box and a 400w amp, they will be in an 03 ford explorer if that matters and i can't currently get specifics on the system because my trucks in the shop, so what amp wiring kit do i need? I already have an aftermarket radio unit in as well

Something like this, I'm guessing? http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_21675_MTX-TNP212D2.html

a decent 8 awg kit would be adequate:

I used one of these for a friend's sub/amp install: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_45057_Belva-BAK82.html
it's decent quality. A lot of people hate on CCA but it works fine and is quite a bit cheaper than pure copper.

  • Do I need an stereo install kit for a single din radio? I'm trying to install a single din aftermarket radio into my 94 ford ranger, the stock radio is a single din so I was wondering do I need to to buy a stereo install kit?
  • Need wiring ignition switch connection DETAILS for 73 (11/72) Ford F100? Wire colors are Yellow, Black, Red w/Blue stripe, Pink, & two (2) Red w/Green stripe (on one terminal). I haven't found anything for these combination of wire color on the web. I need to know where to connect each of these wires… Correctly. I have a ballast, an ignition module, starter solenoid, distributor and coil to connect this specific combination of wires colors to, with this 6 pin switch (only 5 are connected because two red w/green stripe wires are on one pin/terminal)
  • Need help weighing the pros and cons of what kind of camper van to buy? So I plan on moving down to Nashville and living in a van in the very near future. I'm on the fence between 2. The first option is a 1988 Ford e350 diesel dually ambulance that has been fully converted. Running water, inverter, heat, ac. Pretty much everything in an rv besides a toilet. My second option is getting a cargo van and converting it or just getting one of those conversion Van's. I'm just not sure what my best bet is.
  • I need the wiring color codes for the radio on my 2007 Ford e-150 cargo van? I'm installing a new car stereo in my work truck. It's a 2007 Ford e-150 cargo van (4.6 liter v8, if that helps). I have it connected for the most part (it turns on and plays properly) but every time I turn off the car the entire radio resets so I can't save any presets or audio settings. So I need the color codes for the factory harness. And yes I cut the factory harness and I'm just connecting those wires directly to the harness for the new stereo.
