Can you go to any car dealership like Ford and test drive any vehicle? - 1
Added (1). I have a Drivers License. So you should already assume I have one when I'm asking if car dealerships do test drives.
Added (2). Also, I'm asking cause I want to go test driving with my fiancee just to do something together
Sure, if you are a fully licensed driver.
Many, but not all.
Yes, I can. No idea about you, though.
I probably could, I don't know about you. But then I'd only do that if I genuinely intended to buy a car, Not as cheap date with a girlfriend. That would be wasting a salespersons time.
Salesman are taught to prequalify you. That is, are you willing & able to buy a car today? If not, come back when you are.
That's what experienced salesman will tell you.
Test driving cars is not a "date", its a business activity.
Dealer sales people can spot a joy rider a mile away. And they don't want to waste time with them. So, unless you have a genuine interest in the car you want to test drive, don't waste the dealer's time.
The odds that you are smarter than the salespersons who earn their living at the dealerships are not high.
They will spot you, and not even let you close to a car. Deal with it.
- If you have enough money, can you have a new classic car built? Like can I pay to have ford build me a 1970 Mustang? Lets say I don't want to buy an old car and restore it, I want a 1970 but straight off the factory line. Can you have a car built with the old style frame, engine, trans, etc?
- I'm 15 years old and I'm about to be 16 very soon. Can I test drive a car from a dealership? I'm 15 with my permit and turn 16 very soon. I've had my permit for 9 months now and haven't ever been pulled over or in an accident. My parents are willing to buy me a new Ford Mustang for my 16th birthday but I want to test drive it first. If I was to go in with my dad would they let me test drive the car?
- What does a Ford diagnostic test. Test for on a car? I've recently took my car in for some warranty work to be done.( For free, well I thought). But the guy at ford has rang me up saying I owe them £100 for the diagnostic test which has told him its the washer pump thats gone. Can the test show its the washer pump thats gone. Or has he looked under bonnet and tryed to scam me out of 100 pound?
- Can I take my used car from a used car dealership, to the name brand dealership? I have a 2002 ford explorer, and the fuel level gauge is not working. Do I take it to a regular mechanic, or can I go to a ford dealership? or is there a way to do it myself?
