Can I take my used car from a used car dealership, to the name brand dealership?
I have a 2002 ford explorer, and the fuel level gauge is not working.
Do I take it to a regular mechanic, or can I go to a ford dealership?
or is there a way to do it myself?
You can take it to Ford or to a regular mechanic. Ford will be able to figure it out faster but may charge you more
You can fix it anywhere/any way you want.
Hi yes you could go to a Ford dealer they will fix it sooner than any other garage can.

Then I was told that my dealership was wrong and now i've been doing it after every 3,000 miles. But i'm wonderin since I changed it after the first 10,000 miles, could that have messed up my engine somehow? It was brand new when I got it. Only had 25 miles on it
