Will a 95 Ford 4.2 fit a 98 Ford truck?
Will a 95 Ford 4.2 fit a 98 Ford truck?
Ford never made a 4.2L in 1995. The 4.2L was basically a stroked Essex 3.8L. It was first used in 1997. It was used in the 1997-2008 F-150 and Econoline vans. A front wheel drive variant was also used in the Freestar minivan.
Not without some modification. The 95 was a ninth generation and the 98 is a tenth generation F150. Similar but not exactly the same.

I just sold my old f150 after engine finally **** the bed after 215,000 miles(she was a trooper) I'm gonna get a ranger next however just because its more efficient on gas. I was wondering if my old tool box will fit for it, or will I have to spend another 200 bucks on a tool box?
