While I do believe Christie Ford has been through a traumatic event, what do we seriously do with accusations that can't be proven true or?

False? It is very hard to believe that Kavanaugh was the assaulter, but I would never try to tell Ford that she is lying that something awful did happen to her

Added (1). Of course the police would believe me that my wallet was stollen at gunpoint but If I told them my next door neighbor Bob did it, they would investigate and look for evidence and were not able to find any, their hands are tied

If you were held up at gunpoint and relieved of your wallet, would we call you a liar if there were no witnesses to the crime that effected you?
Did you really want the police to believe you?

Read Rachael Mitchel's report. She's the lawyer with decades of experience representing sexual assault victims

It's a little late for your "sympathy." Just admit you're wrong.

When she said she was 100% sure that it was him, It became very easy for me to believe that he was the assaulter. He may have been so drunk that he doesn't remember it, but she was so believable, and has nothing to gain by lying.

But in the end there may be no way to prove this one way or the other. That would not keep me as a Senator from voting no on his nomination. Its not a court of criminal law and I don't need to feel he is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. This is a job interview. And just this strong suspicion would be enough for me to just come up with another conservative nominee. Its too important to just say "Well, he is probably not guilty, so lets just approve of him, Not good enough for a SC judge.has to be a very high bar.

Then his lying under oath and exhibiting an arrogant attitude of belligerent entitlement and exposing partisan conspiracy theories ( This is all Clinton's revenge) puts the seal on him… Turn him down.

It is a very weak case, no evidence, no DNA, No House or bed

The entire problem is that Ford didn't think the "assault" was important enough to report when it happened. Nor did she report it within a few years of when it happened. So there's no record, of any assault on her by BK, ever. If she is so traumatized by the "event", why did she wait till now to say anything?

That's why there's a federal statute of limitations involving most crimes, that says you can't bring charges on an old allegation. All this stuff with Kavanaugh is way to old to have a police investigation…
