What tools do i need to change the brakes on a 3/4 ton ford econoline van?
You will need The socket to take the wheels off, or the wheel wrench provided with the vehicle for the spare. You will need a 9mm allen wrench, I recommend you use it on a 3/8" socket. If the rear are drums you need a spring brake pliers. You need a C clamp to compress the calipers for disc brakes.
A basic set of metric wrenches and socket besides the tool I listed. A brake bleeding vacuum pump is helpful, otherwise you need a second person. One to pump the brakes while you open the bleeder fitting
- Where can I find engine size in 1996 Ford Econoline Passenger Van? I want to change oil in my van, I just bought it used a few months ago. Owner's Manual lists 4 different engine sizes for it. I can't find anything under the hood or any paper ID that lists the engine size for it. Just wondering if anyone else has any ideas. It's a van with a short hood and the engine can't be seen from under the hood.
- What is the value of a Ford Econoline van 1962? I'm asking for my uncle. Last year it was $650 now this year they are saying it's $2750. Something docent seem right with this and he wants to argue it with the people at the tax office. Also it's in about fair condition not sure if that helps.
- What tools do I need to change my brake pads? Explain in plain English to a non-mechanic. Send pictures even? Alright before I get into this, let me explain that I'm a 17 year old girl that has no one to do my brake pads, and I'm unable to transport my car to a shop. Recently bought a car that needs a brake pad change and decided it'd be a good learning experience to just do them myself. I've seen them done and also decided that if I **** something up that's my own problem. I have a 2005 Ford Taurus. My e-mail is nyarseniccatnip@gmail.com (Haha. Ironic.)
