What is wrong with my 01 Ford Tauras?

I just bought a new battery about 3 weeks ago. I noticed my car was getting slower at starting one night while leaving Walmart and the battery light would come on and off multiple times in minutes. When I went to start my car this morning it would turn on the air was on, the wipers worked, the blinkers worked but it wouldn t fully start to the point where I could drive when I turned the ignition all the way it would "click click click" what's up with that?

You probably have a bad starter.

check to make sure the connections on the battery are solid. If you jump the battery and it doesn't start good, then its the starter.
If you jump it and it starts good, then it is the battery.

The click-click-click is your starter solenoid trying to send power to your starter. My guess is that when you put in the new battery, either it wasn't charged or your alternator isn't charging it, or you didn't clean and tighten the connectors on the battery. A poor connection can cause exactly what you have described, including the lights working. But so can a weak or uncharged battery. Was the battery you installed brand new, or "used." Have you checked the connections to make sure they are nice and tight?

Altinator/brushes?

That IS NOT a battery light. It is a charging system light. It normally indicates the alternator isn't supplying enough power.
Not starting COULD be the starter, or it could indicate that the failing alternator isn't keeping the battery charged enough to power the starter.

Your alternator is probably shot. That battery light that keeps flashing means the battery isn't charging not that the battery is bad.
