- Car acceleration problem and idle problem. The car is a 2003 Ford Taurus? . When the car is running and in parked its making a loud consisted rev noise. However the rpm needle thingy is not moving. when i'm in drive the car acclerates on its own with the speed ever increasing. i did some googling and learned that it can be the TPS sensor or the idle air intake valve, among a million other possiblities.
- About my car i have just got a used car 2001 ford taurus? Everything run great but i was wondering what good gas to use for this car and what do you think about these car? Just wondering. I think it run great but then i feel different then other cars. If you had or have one tell me about them and how did you like or dislike about it.
- Is getting a lot of miles on a car actually bad for the car if the car is well taken care of? Back story: I have been using my car to visit a guy who lives about an hour away from me, and my mother has said that I "don't need to be putting all those miles" on my car. It is a well-taken care of Ford mustang with about 125,000 miles on it, and I have not noticed any issues at all. Cars are meant to be driven, in my mind. Is putting mileage on a care actually a bad thing, or is mother probably pulling an overprotective mother of an adult child?
