What are the most reliable cars you can think of?
I want something relatively new, but it doesn't have to be brand spanking new.
So far I was thinking a Volkswagen Jetta. I was also liking Subaru, but I don't know whether the impreza or legacy is better. I also like Ford Crown Victoria/Mercury Grand Marquis'. Are Jeep wranglers reliable as well?
Mention any car you like and why,
Hmu with your best suggestion!
As far as consumer reviews go, Subaru is just eh. While I enjoy a nice american car. Toyota makes by far the most reliable cars. By FAR. Try a Rav-4 or corolla
THey are All Very different and fill in different gaps! The CROWN VIC< and MARQUIS are the same exact car with different interiors and accents! The VW JETTA is for SAFETY and MILEAGE and SPORTINESS. And the SUBARU is a GREAT hj\japanese work horse with AWD. MY PERSONAL FAVORITE is a good used AUDI< which is the LUXO version of a VW! IT WILL NEVER RUST, but requires a competent approach to owning a car like this NO VALVOLINE OIL EVER and no PRESTONE EITHER! It must have SPEC NUMBER 502/505 oi ONLY! This means mobil one 0w-40, amsoil total energy oil from France, and pennzoil ultra euro! THE euro OIL GIVES A 15 YEaR 500K MIL oil warranty against any ENGINE PROBLEMS! Pennzoil must see the car first TO GET APPROVED For THE PROGRAM. I recommend a well cared for TAURUS with the 3.0 engine even MORE! It is VERY SAFE and well tested, and gets about 30 MPG if tuned correctly! IT feels like driving your LIVING ROOM AROUND, and has BMW-like handling and BRAKES. THey WIL rust however, if made before 95 or so! THey are FRONT DRIVERS that PULL you out of road troubles. Teh CV and MARQ! UIS are rear drivers not as good in CLUMPS OF SNOW and bad ROAD conditions. The SUBARUS are mostly FOUR WHEEL DRIVERS and great in All weather and are VERY ASFE and durable! There's no BEST< just choices to make! BYE NOW!
Volkswagen Jetta is a good car however they tend to have a lot of electrical glitches. If you go with the Jetta I would recommend the diesel model diesels will run forever n you get 50 miles to the gallon.me personally I would recommend a 2006 or 2008 Nissan Altima. On the American side I would say Cadillac CTS or Chrysler 300. I'm more of a truck guy but if I would go and buy a car todayit would be the Dodge Charger. But that is more for fun. I Drive a 2002 Nissan Maxima with 200,000 miles on it and it still runs a strong as it did from day one with no issues
- What is the most reliable car brand? I know how long a car runs/how reliable it is, all has to do with the owner and how well said car is maintained… But generally, what car brand (eg Ford, Toyota, Chevy) lasts the longest, is the most reliable?
- What are the most reliable car brands and which ones should I avoid? I'm looking to get a used car. I have even heard about two lesser known Japanese brands, Subaru and Suzuki, but I'm a bit skeptical of Suzuki in particular. I'm honestly not a supporter of Mitsubishi and Mazda. I would not say having AWD/4WD is necessary for me. It is not very snowy where I live. The reason I said that I do not like Mazda was because it used to be partnered with Ford and I do not like American car companies. I'm not so keen on German cars.
- Most reliable transit van 2001-2004? I'm looking to buy a ford transit van for my landscaping company either swb or lwb not really to bothered. I just want to know what the best most reliable engine is to go for? I would like a little bit of poke but not essential would rather reliability.
- I'm looking into converting a van on a budget under $5000. What do you think is a reliable choice? Is newer or lower miles more important? Mechanical advice? Comparing a 1995 ford club wagon with 59000 miles to a 2007 ford econoline with 134000 miles?
