Did Ford ever put a v-8 in the Taurus?
Did Ford ever put a v-8 in the Taurus?
Yes they did. The third generation Taurus SHO (1996-1999) had a 3.4 liter V-8 engine that was actually built by Yamaha. It was NOT a very reliable engine.
Sure, 1996 Taurus SHO 3.4 V8.
It sucked like the rest of that generation of Taurus. Enough to destroy the branding and change it to be named the 500 after.
Uh yeah… The SHO

- I need to put a different engine in my 1982 Ford Ranger Lariat and I don't know what to put in it? It's the biggest engine you could get at the time in those trucks, so it is a v8, I just don't know the exact size. Since the engine is pretty much dead that's in it I was wondering if almost any v8 could go in it's place or if it has any specific engine that has to go it in. Also any good suggestion for a good engine would be great.

- Did ford ever put a V8 in any of the Rangers? I'm wondering if Ford ever made a Ford Ranger with a V8 engine. I know for a fact that they put a 4 cylinder and V6's in them and I know they put V8's in Ford Explorer's but I have no idea if they put them in the Ranger
