Car starts rolling again after brakes pressed?
My girlfriends Ford Taurus stops like normal when the brake is pressed, but then after stopping completely it makes a rough sounding noise and starts rolling like the brake isn't pressed down, but it is. Any help would be appreciated.
Need new brake pads it's that the pad it doesn't have any left to lock on the disc so it starts to slowly move again what happens is that is like tires when new thread it has enough to stop good but when there's no thread left it slides…
The car is getting ready to kill you and your girlfriend, (and others), and you're asking the Internet? Have the thing towed to a mechanic. You've got a leak somewhere; master cylinder, disk / drum cylinder, or brake lines.

- Why aren't my Windows rolling up in 1995 Ford Taurus? I have a 1995 Ford Taurus Gl and the driver side window will not roll up it will roll down all day but will not roll up. I'm a pretty good at working on cars and have checked fuses even the window switch and motor and all of it is still showing the same problem it will only work one way. Is there a short in my wiring?
- Why did my car start rolling on its own when changing the spark plugs? I got a ford 1999 taurus SE, when I was changing the spark plugs and wireset in the back part of the engine it, I felt it start rolling back. I had it in park, I quickly ran to the drivers side and put the E brake on but I still don't understand why it did that. It drove fine after that and so did the parking brake but wtf?
- Ford Ranger 4.0, 172,000 miles rough idle when starting after sitting overnight or after 2-3 hours. Starts 1st crank, idles rough 1 minute? Or so and then smooths out and runs fine. New heads and gaskets. Cleaned MAF sensor, throttle body and air intake sensor, new IAC valve, new air and fuel filters, new PCV valve. No smoke coming from exhaust and No check engine light. Any ideas what's causing this rough idle?
