AC making loud noise outside of car after I scraped the bottom of my car?

My car sits really close to the ground so I very easily scrape the bottom of my car when I go over bumps and dips too fast. I did this this morning and my car started to make a weird noise. I turned it off when I parked to go to the store and when I came back and turned it back on and turned my ac on, it started making this really loud scary noise. It would start and stop but would stop as soon as I shut my ac off. Anyone know what is happening? I know nothing about cars so yeah. Not sure if I hit like the ac unit of my car somehow when I scraped the bottom of my car. If it helps I have a 1997 ford Taurus. I just had my ac fixed back in June so yeah… I have no idea lol. If anyone can give any input that would be super great.

Could have damaged an a/c line or condenser and the metal particles from the damaged could have damaged the compressor

Get it up on a ramp and check it out, you might of slit a pipe

So much for lowering springs.

  • Why is my 1997 Ford Thunderbird making a loud knocking noise as I? I bought a 97 ford Thunderbird not to long ago and it is starting to make a thumping like kknock. Sound like it is coming from under the car but only happens when I'm driving. I got an oil change n still hear the knocking why?
  • Weird noise coming from bottom of my car? Ok so i own a 2002 Ford Mustang GT, and there has been this weird, weird rattling noise coming from beneath my car. I'm running an SLP loudmouth aftermarket exhaust and i'm wondering if thats the issue. I'm no mechanic, so i wanna know what i'm gonna be dealing with before i go see for myself. I'm 16 years old as well, I'm also running a bbk offroad x pipe and stock headers(its pretty loud), so i'm wondering if that may be part of the problem too
  • Car fan is really loud when stationary and just after the car is switched off? I've got a 2010 Ford KA which I've had for 2 years in the last few days I noticed a fan comes on when I'm stationary and it's really loud for about a minute when I turn the engine off. Does anyone know what this could be? Themostat was broken - phew! Not a hug expense to correct!
