Should Sen. Feinstein have presented the Ford letter sooner so that a thorough investigation could have been done?

Or was she right to withhold it for six weeks?

Feinstein should crawl in a hole and die.

They can tell all kind of sob stories for the reason they delayed presenting the letter.

But, isn't it obvious that it was a last minute stall tactic to delay the confirmation and make a mess of it?

Both Ford and Kavanaugh are the victims of despicable game of Democrats.

She is desperate to prove to the other Democrats that want her gone that she is a team player and still has plenty of dirty tricks up her sleeve.

You could argue that she sabotaged the senate.

Obviously, she should have turned it over to the full Judiciary committee (with Ford's name redacted, if she felt it necessary).

There's no justification for releasing it at the last minute unless you're trying to throw a wrench into the gears.

Interesting how apparently no lefties are willing to answer this question. Funny that.

Depending on who you believe she didn't 'withhold' it…

… The letter and its contents were known to the committee… Republicans dismissed it, counsel didn't see enough to warrant a law-enforcement investigation and the democrats were split on whether or not it should be made public…

… It was only after Kavanaugh passed through democratic questioning over his actual qualifications and seemed a lock for nomination that the letter was then "leaked" to the media… Feinstein denies leaking the letter herself, but the fact is she really had nothing to lose and everything to gain by doing so…

I hate the California liberal fringe Democrat politicians. Feinstein included.

Only if she were not being political. She probably had the information as early as February from that useless representative. All CA deserves to have the vote rescinded.

She held onto it for more dramatic effect. The closer to the November elections, the better. And if Judge Kavanaugh's nomination is derailed, the Dems might gain favor for appearing to be on the side of a woman who said she was attacked. Thats always a good position.
