Should I buy a Ford or Chevy van?

I need a van to carry around my band equipment with, and my budget is around 4 or 5 grand. I decided to go with a used conversion van since they are cheap and like the high top, and I can easily take out the unnecessary stuff like the bed and tv. But that brings me to my current dilemma. Ford or Chevy? I've already pretty much ruled out dodge. From what I've found, a Chevy g20 van would have a lot of room for my stuff and would probably be perfect for me. But I always hear that ford vans are tougher, last longer, and are better for towing. Every ford conversion van I've seen has looked smaller on the interior than a Chevy, so I guess it's a bit of a trade off. What do you think?

By the way, I'd rather not have to pull a trailer if I don't have to, so don't start telling me to just buy a trailer for my stuff.

I can't speak for a Chevy, but I have owned two ford vans… And I CAN say they were both VERY dependable.
