Safety issue with car jump start?
How to use a jump starter.
do i need to connect the red one to red one in the car and the black one to black.is it the same in all car always.
i just bought a jump starter for my 2004 ford car.
also. What are the safety things to follow with jump starter both when charging it with external supply and also when using it for jump start.
HI, sometimes if the wires have been replaced they are not the proper color… Normally I would say yes. But to be sure you have the right one. The BLACK ONE (-) of the cables should go to the body or frame. The RED ONE (+) should go to the starter or starter solenoid.
Yes,… Red to red… Black to black ( positive + to positive,…, negative --- to negative )
AND DON'T LEAN OVER THE BATTERY WHEN YOU HOOK UP… REACH OUT,… Keep face away,… They can explode and shower you with acid

- Where do you hook the battery charger to jump start 2007 ford E-450? Have a 2007 ford E-450 box truck. Battery is dead and wondering were you hook the charger to jump start the battery.
- What causes a car to jump in reverse when all forward gears are fine? I once owned a 1967 Ford Mustang (sure wish I still had it!) with a 289 ci w/2 bbl and factory 3 speed on the floor. I bought it used with 100k miles. It acted fine in forward gears but when I put it in reverse, It "jumped" as long as I was moving. I changed out the clutch and pressure plate twice but it didn't help. Could it have been that the fly wheel needed balancing (by grinding) or something else?
- Which Ford car has advanced safety features? I saw a tv commercial for a Ford car that has blind spot detection, self parking, and automatically brakes if you get too close to a car. I'm not sure if it was the Ford Fusion or the Ford Focus.
