Stand on the driver side and look towards the cylinder head. The sender is mounted in the block, below the cylinder head, almost to the rear of the cylinder head.A 1 wire harness is attached to the sender.Click on the link below then scroll down to the very last diagram on the page and it shows a picture of the cylinder head, block, water temp and oil pressure senders.

  • Would a faulty water pump, on a 04 Ford Freestar, cause the Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor to go bad? There's definite spray pattern on the underside of the hood from the water pump going. Could antifreeze have gotten into the fuel rail sensor and caused it to fault? Is it possible to clean the Fuel Rail Pressure sensor or any corrosion? Part is EXPENSIVE.
  • Is a 1989 to 1992 Ford Ranger very hard to find? Usually I'm only seeing a 1993 to present Ford Ranger on my streets of town. The old Ford Ranger from 1983 to 1992 (I call 1983 to 1992 Ford Rangers "1980s Ford Ranger Truck") is the ranger I rarely see in my town. I know a lot of those 1980s vehicles are very hard to find but is the 1983 to 1992 Ford Ranger very rare and hard to find? Would it be a good truck to buy if I did find one? Is there not much many of them left in the United States?
  • Is a 1989 to 1992 Ford Ranger rare to find and see? I heard that many of those old trucks and cars from the 1980s/early 90s are very rare to find and are generally not seen on the roads anymore. Is a 1989 to 1992 Ford Ranger hard to find?
