What transfer case with a c6 transmission?

I have a 1981 Ford f150 that has a c6 transmission bolted up to a 302. I'm currently swapping a 1991 Ford Ranger 4x4 from a 2.9l to a spare 5.0/302 motor that I have in my shed. I was wondering if I could put the c6 transmission on the ranger? Also if I can what transfer case to use with it?

Use HONDA TRANMISSION

If your spare 302 is an early 80's model, then I wouldn't bother. The 2.9L actually has more horsepower. And the C6, while extremely robust, is not very efficient at transferring power, it typically has something like a 20% loss vs. 13-15% for the A4LD which was the stock automatic in the Ranger.

I think the sounds like a nightmare about to unfold.

I'm sure someone make a adapter kit for it but you are not going to be able to use the rangers tranfer case
