Tires on a 2009 Ford Ranger?
I'm looking at purchasing a 2009 Ford Ranger. I want decent size mud tires on it. Can I get some size information? I don't want to overkill it. Also what size XD rims would go on it. I also don't want to have to lift it any. It's 2010 extended cab 4wd, stock height.
Added (1). I meant 2009 down there at the end.
Rims size for your truck can be from 15 to 20 inches.
Then choose tires according ti the size of your wheels.
BTW, check out these tires http://www.carid.com/bfgoodrich-tires/mud-terrain-t-a-km2-1248993.html
I would get 32' they look sweet
- Tires for a 1976 Ford F150 Ranger? Truck currently has P255/70R15. I'm looking for a shorter/lower tire that is still more than capable of taking the weight of the truck. Any suggestions?
- Did the Ford Ranger roll over when it was equipped with Firestone tires? I know of a Ford Explorer use to roll over in the nineties because it was equipped with tire blow out of Firestone tires. Ford Ranger at the time were also equipped with Firestone tires. If a Ford Ranger is equipped with Firestone tires is it really possible for it to roll over like the Ford Explorer.
- Can I fit 31 inch tires on a stock 1998 ford ranger XLT 2wd? I have a stock 1998 ford ranger XLT 2wd at stock hight and currently have have the tire size 225/70R14. I wanted to put 31x10.50R15LT on it. (31 inch tires). Would I have to lift my truck to put that on there or can I ride 31s stock.
- Can 225/70R16 tires fit on rims that have 225/70r14 tires on them? I have 225/70r14 tires on my Ford ranger. I just got some 225/70r16 tires of the same brand, Cooper, given to me. Will they fit on the 225/70r14 rims or do I need to get rims to fit the 225/70r16.
