Rattle noise from front end when driving through bumps?

My 97' ford ranger truck has this noise while going through bumps and even small cracks on the road. The noise is a rattle noise and comes from the driver's side front end. The noise could be best described as a metal tool box with a wrench inside that shake around while driving over bumps. Just imagine a metal tool box with one loose tool inside hitting the metal box. It is not a loud sound but still able to hear it clearly and is quite annoying. My guess is some suspension component?

Several things come to mind. Bad shock mount. Bad anti-swat bar link. Bad ball joint. Bad tie rod end. Anyting loose could cause the noise.
