Is it worth buying the new Ford truck, the Ranger model?

I'm not interested in a Toyota - Tacoma, I really liked the Ford Ranger.

Haven't heard one way or the other, but MY Ford Bronco is 25 years old & still going strong and have ONLY bought Ford's since the '70's…

Wait after 2 or 3 years. When there are no more recalls.

The diesel engines on the early new Rangers in Asia and Australia failed after a simple oil change. Read on it.

Is it worth it TO YOU? We can't answer that, dude. We don't know you.

I'd be all over that if I was truck shopping right now. Also looking forward to the Bronco if it's based on the Ranger, and that Jeep Gladiator looks like it's going to be a winner.

If you like it, get one.

If you like it get it. Personally I will not buy a Ford. I Look around and actually see more fords sitting on used car lots and I think they are there for a reason… Whom ever had it was not happy with it or it was fix or repair to much and to often. I rather have a Tacoma or a Chevrolet.

Pay attention… Look at the average car lot and pay attention to what you see there more often then others.

You like it, so you made your choice. Buy the maintenance package.

2019 Ford Ranger, "mid sized" -- 270bhp, 211" long, 86" wide, playload: 1,609 to 2,128 lbs, towing 7,500 pounds.

I bought a new 1977 GMC K250 175bhp, 212" long 80" wide (3/4ton, with 1 ton suspension,) about 1,500 to 2,000 playload. 8,000 towing maximum.)

** DAMN ** The "wimpy" Ranger is considerably more powerful and bigger than an Old School Full Size 3/4 ton.

FORD rules the circuit sand FORD TRUCKS have been THE number ONE selling trucks for more than THRIFTY Y$EARS! GM sues OLD technology and STIL have BAD turning circles, OVER bod BRAKES and POORER fuel economy! The NEW FORD RANGER is TOTALLY updated and AWESOME and WILL last LONGER than ANY CHEVY could DREAM OF! FORD uses EUROPEAN engine technology and many times even GERMAN ZF transmissions! ANYONE having inssues with FORD DIESELS are usually using OIL CHANGE CENTER oisl that ARNOT approved by FORD engineering!

As far as I'm concerned, the Ford Ranger is good looking and worth buying. My uncle has a farm and he often drives his 2014 Ford Ranger for material transportation. Its rear compartment is big enough to hold lot of things.
