The roads must be good where you live to allow 100 mph. Where I live no way the roads are good enough for any vehicle to maintain 100 mph. Different speed between traffic is where the danger begins I doubt a ranger would cruse safely at 100mph not enough brakes or road holding if something happens how well does a ranger do on a Mouse test at 100 mph?
95-100 mph isn't safe in any car on a public road.
No, Mark. It is NOT safe. Stop asking this same question over and over again.
- Would a long travel suspension kit built for a Ford Ranger Edge/Sport also fit on a Ranger XLT? I found a long travel suspension kit made for a 2002 ranger edge/sport but I have a XLT same year. Would it still fit on and function the same?
- Can a ford ranger safely sustain speeds of 85-90 mph without any problems at all? I'm looking for a pickup truck that can haul stuff and is good for driving off roaming occasionally but I also what a pickup that has good performance as well. My question is can a 2007 ford ranger XLT 4.0 v6 5 speed manual sustain speeds of 85-90 mph or is that pushing the limits of this truck?
- 2007 Ford Ranger rear end jerks on acceleration after a downshift at about 20 MPH? 2007 Ford Ranger 28,000 miles, 8.8" Rear axle 3:18 gears auto trans. Every now and then when I accelerate from around 20 MPH and the truck downshifts there's a small jerk in the rear end a second after the downshift. Is this normal? I just bought the truck and never had RWD before. If someone knows what the problem is that would be awesome!
