2000 ford ranger radio problems?
I bought a 2000 ford ranger with a non working radio. There's no display, no sound. The buttons on the radio do light up. Is it fixable or do I have to buy a new radio
It's worth checking the fuses. With car radios, control illumination often comes off of the dashboard lighting circuit, which is separate from the main radio power.
If the fuses are good, check for power at the radio (which means pulling the console). If power and ground are good at the radio, replace the radio. (It's not going to be worth fixing.)
