1997 ford ranger. What part is this?
Looks like some sort of filter. Truck still runs even though the hose is busted and It looks easy enough to replace if I knew what to buy.
Fuel filter
If its inline with fuel hosing, then the fuel filter
I'd make two observations from the photo. First if the truck runs with that cracked hose it isn't being used as a fuel filter even though that is what it appears to be. Second the hose fittings and position in relation to the engine don't indicate its fuel related either. No way of knowing for certain but the lines appear more like those used for vacuum or vapor control. If so, I can't think of any reason for its installation.
- What is this part of a 93 ford ranger called? It looks like a bar that the transmission sits on top of? Where ot bolts up is all rusted and i need to replace it.
- What is most harder to find a 1995-2001 Ford Explorer or a 1993 to 1997 Ford Ranger? I need to know which vehicle is more easier to find nowadays and 1993 to 97 Ford Ranger or I 95 to 2001 Ford Explorer.
- I have a 1997 ford ranger XLT and there's something wrong with my heater? When I turn the heat selector it doesn't do anything. Could there be something wrong with the vacuum. My truck is a 2.3 l 4 cylinder with 8 sparkplugs. How can I fix this? Also could something be preventing the trap doors from opening when I put it to a different selection
