Obamacare Healthnet HMO Gold plan has NO endocrinologist in my area and Healthnet wants me to travel?

More then 50 miles to some out of the area doctor. Don't they have to reimburse me for my travel expenses? I don't live in the middle of nowhere. I live in the Palm Springs area where lots of rich and famous people live and we have three major hospitals, one of which is Eisenhower where the Betty Ford clinic is.

This is crazy.

Added (1). I just spoke to my doctor's office and they said it doens't matter what insurance I get from Obamacare PPO or HMO all plans from Obamacare they're having problems with and they're starting to refuse clients who have any Obamacare plan.

This Really sucks.

A) HealthNet doesn't have an extensive network.
B) They don't reimburse you.
C) Your doctor doesn't refuse "Obamacare plans." Because, there's no such thing as an Obamacare plan. And, they would have NO IDEA whether your HealthNet plan was purchased by you last year or this year. To them, it's just a HealthNet plan.
D) At open enrollment in the fall, choose something other than HealthNet and check the network before committing.

They won't pay for your travel expenses.

You don't get to go to those hospitals and doctors because you bought a cheap HMO. Apparently, no doctors in Palm Springs take your HMO, so you have to travel.

You live in the land of rich and famous people… Who buy absurdly good insurance plans and/or self insure themselves.

No, they don't have to reimburse you for travel expenses.

Blame everyone who voted for Obama. Especially blame the people who voted for him twice - this is THEIR fault. If YOU voted for him, it's YOUR fault, you got what you wanted.

No, they won't reimburse you.

Your agent should have explained the limited doctor network of the plan. If they didn't you should get a new agent during the next enrollment period. I make sure all of my clients know about the doctor networks on whichever plan I put them on.

Obamacare wasn't designed to help you. It's designed to be a covert tax on the middle class.

50 miles? That's nothing!

I travel 100 miles to see my orthopedist, and have had to travel up to 2500 miles to have surgery. No, my insurance (which was not 'Obamacare') but a very good, employer provided policy did not pay a dime of my travel.

However, I had excellent healthcare that my insurance covered and that's all I care about. I'll pay to travel for that.

Welcome to national limited health care.

you may get to deduct it from your taxes.
visit IRS.gov or library.

No they do not have to reimburse you. You probably have the option of going to an out-of-network doctor and paying a bit more.

They do not pay for travel expenses.
