My Van is missing on acceleration?
I have a Ford e350 v8 year 2002. The van has 126,000 miles. The van had sat for a while and has had some work done to it. New starter, brake lines, bearings replaced in engine, new pan gasket. Mostly on high acceleration a I get bad missing and a shutter like its not getting enough gas or something. I was concerned that it may be the transmission filter clogged, maybe the coils, or maybe the spark plugs need replaced? I'm also getting a speedometer that jumps around part of the time, possibly from sitting. Any serious suggestions or input would be helpful in the diagnosis process. All fluid levels are clean and at max.
Get a tune up. No joy: it is best to take it to a shop with a diagnostic machine.
- 2001 Ford Taurus, 156k miles. Today started missing and skipping, low to no power? Idles smooth, takes off slow. Sluggish going up hill, but will go faster down hill. Push down on the gas- little change. Ck engine light is on of course. Any idea what it could be?

- How would I register a care that's missing all of it's paperwork? My Uncle gave me his 1967 Ford Custom 500. We've restored it and it's like new. The only issue is putting the car in my name and registering it. It hasn't been registered since 1980 and we have none of the paperwork for it. It's been missing for years. We live in California (if that matters). What do I need to do to register this car?
