My car battery was put in wrong, is it the fuses called 100 a that I need now?
I have a ford sport 2002 my battery was put in wrong and now nothing is working what happened?
When you say wrong, do you mean somebody was incompetent enough to switch polarity? If that is the case, it can fry all the electronics in the vehicle resulting in a totaled brick. Fuses do not protect against reversed polarity. They only protect against higher than normal amperage.
I'm hoping this is not the case.
I've seen people do this more than once. On anything with a computer, it is normally fried and headed to the junk yard. Costs too much to replace all the electronics. I never understand how that can be done. Red, +, POSITIVE. Black, - NEGATIVE.
Get the person who put it in wrong to fix it

Hi that means serious damage to the cars electronics systems then. Have a dealer of your make look at it as it will need a lot of spare parts.
- I need to put a different engine in my 1982 Ford Ranger Lariat and I don't know what to put in it? It's the biggest engine you could get at the time in those trucks, so it is a v8, I just don't know the exact size. Since the engine is pretty much dead that's in it I was wondering if almost any v8 could go in it's place or if it has any specific engine that has to go it in. Also any good suggestion for a good engine would be great.
- What's that thing called when young boy racers put on there car to make it sound loud? Is it the exaughst? And where can I put this on my car (ford focus 04 three door 1.6) I want that cool loud sound on mine, so where do they get this these young kids? And how do I go to a garage and explain this to them? And will I look stupid asking the question to the garage worker?
- What's wrong with my car now? It's a 2014 Ford Focus. I had some kind of oil seal replaced because there was oil leaking from my engine. It was covered under warranty and completely free. I got it fixed and when they returned my car to me its accelerating really loudly and doesent go. I returned it to have them look at it but I'm just curious what it could be. Like it sounds like a truck or hole in a muffler
- I put my battery in backwards in my 1981 ford f250 400ci now no power to the dash what could it be? So basically i'm pretty knowledgable about vehicles except of course when it comes to an electrical problem. I was cleaning my 1981 ford f250 400ci and listening to music. Battery diesd so i went to put in my dads to start it up. I put it in back wards and saw sparks and took it off. Was on there for about 10 sec before i saw it. I know i'm an idiot and should take my time. What could it be. Checked all fuses and only one was blown where else should i check?
