What's wrong with my car now?
It's a 2014 Ford Focus. I had some kind of oil seal replaced because there was oil leaking from my engine. It was covered under warranty and completely free. I got it fixed and when they returned my car to me its accelerating really loudly and doesent go. I returned it to have them look at it but I'm just curious what it could be. Like it sounds like a truck or hole in a muffler
Probably had to remove part of the exhaust to access the seal and they created an exhaust leak.
How is it accelerating if it doesn't go?
They didn't connect the exhaust back properly. They'll need to do that over and use a new gasket when they do. Take it back to them.
Take it back for another look. Get the manager to drive it if they you the run around.
They blew apart your decrepit exhaust system with their hot rod driving on the lot. I would take it to another dealer.
- What's now wrong with my 2005 Ford 500? 2005 Ford 500 was running fine until Ford dealer did an oil change, replaced air filter and tried to sell me $1000 more "services". Since then it has slight to severe hiccups when hitting brakes and/or when going down the road, especially on small hills.
- What can go wrong from a car sitting a few months? My car has been sitting in my grandparent's carport for a few months. I tried to jump start it today, the lights turned on and all the electronic stuff worked but it wouldn't start. Do I just need to try again or could it be the starter or something? It's a 1998 Ford Taurus.
- What's wrong with my car? Whenever I'm on my brakes and I move my foot off my car revs up and try's to speed forward almost like I'm using the gas pedal. I have a 2006 ford fusion.
- I have a 2013 Ford Fusion, I just purchased warranty replacement tires on the car in December. The car is worse in the rain now than before? The tires only have 3,000-4,000 miles, but they are hydroplaning worse that the previous bald tires. They are not off brand tires, but Michelin's. Would like to know if there's anything that can be done.
