My 2006 Ford airbag light stays on what is wrong?
My 2006 Ford airbag light stays on what is wrong?
The light is on because the ECU has detected a problem with the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS). It can be any number of things that is wrong. Working on the SRS is very hazardous so for that reason it should only be repaired by a trained professional. This is NOT a DIY repair. Take it to a Ford dealer for repair.
Something is wrong, probably a bad sensor. To find out what, you need someone to read the computer codes.
Read this post on warning lights.

Try wearing your seat belt.
Your airfags are non functioning.
Airbag
The system has detected a problem in the airbag system and will have to be diagnosed by a Ford dealership service department, DO NOT attempt to fix this yourself, only let a dealer service tech diagnose and repair the problem.
See your dealer. Ford has recalls for defective air bags.
- How to fix 2004 Ford Taurus sel airbag light? I have a 2004 ford taurus sel that I got from a lady who got it from a guy that bought it from the auction. So the car has some minor wear and tear but it does drive. It does have a 44 on the battery, so i don't know if thats the problem like if its weak because it dies after charging it. But what I also need to know is how to get rid of the solid yellow (non blinking) airbag light.
- 2006 Ford Mustang with ABS light and TCS light. What do I do? I recently got an 06 Mustang with an ABS light and TCS light on. I had it checked out just by a quick view. The guy does not believe my hub assembly or bearings are bad. I replaced the ABs sensor and it still did not seem to help. When I had it scanned the computer said it is the passenger rear ABS. I have no grinding, no noises, no issues driving, but I want to fix it properly. Does anyone have any ideas on what steps to take now?
- 2006 Ford F150 left turn signal not working, 3rd brake light stays on? I have a 2006 F150 King Ranch. All of a sudden my left turn signal stopped working and stays solid. The right signal works fine. The 3rd brake light remains on as well. When the headlights are turned off, everything functions as normal. When I turn on the headlights is when I have the problems. The signals both work with lights off. All lights are working. Could it be the MFS? Short? Fuse?
- I have a 2018 Ford Explorer, my interior dome light stays on when door is open. I want it to remain off at all times. How do I fix it? There's a button on the headlight nob switch that allows it on and off while in the car. I don't want light to be on when i park, open the door to gather things at night. I don't want people to have a chance of looking inside. How can i fix the problem?
